First Presbyterian Church, Palo Alto, will be offering Advent Taizé services this December. These services will be held at 7pm on Wednesday evenings, December 4, 11, and 18. The Taizé services will last forty-five minutes and consist of short chants that are sung repeatedly, two scriptural readings or poems, and a short meditation. The mood of Taizé is peaceful and reflective, held in the beautiful candlelight of the church sanctuary on December 4 and 18 and in the church chapel on December 11.
