Davis based, Katalysst, builds their Americana-inspired sound with strong harmonies, interesting chord progressions, and compelling lyrics. Their sound crafts identity in the fertile space where folk-inflected rock meets contemporary commentary. Kat moonlights as a classical and opera singer while Alyssa initially cut her teeth as an indie rock bassist. Their partnership and combined writing styles create a nostalgic sound reminiscent of the past but also undeniably rooted in the now.
