“What do I stand for? Who do I stand with?”

Sermon from guest preacher Rev. Deborah Lee, Sunday October 4th, 2026.

In this week’s sermon, special guest preacher Rev. Deb Lee from the Interfaith Movement on Human Integrity, reflects on the questions, “What do we stand for?” and “Who do we stand with?” Having just returned from visiting people held in ICE detention centers in southern California, she relates personal stories and prayers they shared with her, giving the questions she poses concrete weight and urgency. In the midst of such injustice and suffering, she offers hope found from the people she visited and from our faith, as well as in avenues of action for solidarity and change.
