Pastor Tom begins a sermon series on Revelation introducing apocalyptic literature in general and ways to faithfully and thoughtfully interpret Revelation specifically. Revelation 1 introduces the figure of Jesus Christ whose most important characteristic is that he was a victim of the violence of the Empire and yet still lives. This encourages us to be courageous in the face of all Domination Systems in the world.
Our vision is to grow towards becoming an intergenerational, multi-ethnic, anti-racist, geographically and economically diverse Christian community gathered together and sustained by creative worship, biblically-inspired learning, empathetic ministry, nonviolently disrupting injustice in the world.
