In this week’s sermon, Rev. Harris suggests three core values of Progressive Christianity: liberation for all people in this life, an urgent call to care for creation, and the belief that “Community is the way.”
He also identifies a problem: Progressive Christians have often done a good job of deconstructing Christianity but haven’t always figured out how to put it back together. He offers some ways forward and suggests that the solution may be closely connected to those three core values.
