First Presbyterian Church really showed up to support our trans youth on Sunday at the Sacred Lives Vigil. There were about 15 FPC members and friends there. Praise Olatunde gave a beautiful and inspiring testimony and words of love and encouragement. People were deeply moved by their honesty, courage, and love. We sang beautiful uplifting music. And the Pastor’s read a joint statement drafted by Pastor Tom, Pastor Kelly, and Susan Phinney Silver along with the other organizers. Here is a link to the statement.
