- Anti-Racist Team – This team meets to plan and oversee implementation of our Public Anti-Racist Statement. Learn more…
- Resistance Team – This team plans ways to resist autocracy in the United States. They are working closely with Indivisible Palo Alto.
- Immigrant Advocacy Team – This team is fairly active though they meet irregularly. They do most of their work through Signal messaging.
- Community Sustainability Meals Team – This team partners with the Palo Alto Student Climate Coalition to host plant based meals once a month.
- Care and Compassion Team – This team meets quarterly but is very active in providing pastoral support for homebound individuals in the church and all those who are going through difficult times.
- Prayer and Meditation Team – This team meets monthly for a Taize style prayer and meditation service.
- Worship Planning Team – This team meets quarterly to oversee the worship service planning.
- Social Justice Giving Allocation – This team oversees the funds our church sets aside for annual support of other organizations.
- Landscaping Team – This team oversees landscaping decisions at the church
- End of Life Planning Team – This team collects and maintains information for church members about end of life planning.
Our vision is to grow towards becoming an intergenerational, multi-ethnic, anti-racist, geographically and economically diverse Christian community gathered together and sustained by creative worship, biblically-inspired learning, empathetic ministry, nonviolently disrupting injustice in the world.
