Many people have run into trouble trying to modify an existing recurring contribution through the Vanco mobile app or the link on the church’s website to the Vanco web page (eservicepayments.com).
If you need to make a change, we recommend you do the following:
- Use the web site, NOT the mobile app.
Go to the First Presbyterian Church web site, click on Donate on the top menu bar, then click on the green Give Now button.
This will take you to the Vanco account login page (eservicepayments.com), where you will need to login using your email address and password. - Do not make changes in the 3-day window centered around your existing recurring transaction.
So if your existing recurring transaction occurs on Wednesday, do not make any changes on Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday. - DELETE the existing recurring transaction.
This will only change (delete) future contributions, it will not change any payments you have already made. - Enter a NEW recurring transaction.
Enter any changes now: a new payment method (changing from credit card to bank transfer), updated credit card information (for example, a new expiration date), a different donation amount, a different date for the transaction, etc.)
